The Capital Seahawks have bolstered their roster by signing Brian Bridgeforth, a seasoned 6’10” center known for his impressive international basketball resume. Bridgeforth, originally from Washington, D.C., graduated from Washington Adventist University, where he began building the skill set that has seen him become a force on courts around the world. Over the years, he has played for teams in various countries, including stints in Iraq, Oman, Sweden, and South Africa, which have polished his abilities and developed his versatility as a defensive and offensive player​

Bridgeforth most recently played in Iraq’s Superleague with Al Kahraba Electricity, where he showcased his scoring and rebounding prowess. His prior season with Al Bashaer in Oman further underlined his impact on the court, as he delivered standout performances, such as scoring 20 points and grabbing 13 rebounds in a single game. Christopher Wray, a former Mount St. Mary’s standout, has officially signed with the Capital Seahawks, a new team competing in The Basketball League (TBL). Known for his defensive prowess, Wray earned the title of Northeast Conference (NEC) Defensive Player of the Year in 2018. During his senior season, he was recognized not only for his defensive skills but also for his versatile contributions, averaging 9.6 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.1 blocks, and 2.0 steals per game. His athleticism and commitment to a strong all-around game made him a key player at Mount St. Mary’s, where he also achieved Third Team All-NEC honors.

Wray’s professional journey has taken him internationally, where he has gained valuable experience competing in leagues overseas. Tiwian Kendley, an explosive talent known for his scoring prowess, has signed with the Capital Seahawks, a new team in The Basketball League (TBL). Kendley brings a wealth of experience to the Seahawks, including time with the Washington Wizards and a standout college career at Morgan State University.

Kendley’s journey to professional basketball started with an impressive stint at Morgan State, where he became the fastest player in the school’s Division I history to reach 1,000 career points, averaging 26.1 points per game as a senior. His performances earned him recognition in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC), with multiple Player of the Week honors and a place on the All-Tournament Team. After going undrafted in the 2018 NBA Draft, Kendley joined the Washington Wizards’ Summer League squad, where his tenacity and skills earned him a spot on the Wizards’ G-League affiliate, the Capital City Go-Go, scoring 11.7 points per game in 18 appearances.
